Biddeford Mayor Marty Grohman said the city wants more such projects — housing that connects people to jobs, downtown businesses, walking trails and each other.

Reveler, a real estate investment, development, construction and management company in Portland, has hired Erika Pettingill as director of human resources. 

The complex, scheduled to open next spring, has 124 studios and 126 one-bedroom apartments, plus a courtyard, golf simulator, raised garden beds and sunroom.

Reveler Development in Portland will have a sponsored space in the Career & Employment Hub at the McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success.

The seller retains a leaseback on both properties for his architecture and construction firm Barrett Made. The deal between buyer and seller came about naturally as near-neighbors on Hanover Street.

Founder Tom Watson and CEO John Laliberte felt the real estate development firm named after Watson needed to provide a more accurate picture to the industry. “We said, ‘It’s time. Let’s start thinking about how to position ourselves,'” said Laliberte.
