After a hot and dry summer that led to drought conditions, the season is winding down quietly. With kids already back in school, which started slightly earlier than usual, the traditional summer tourism season is coming to an end.

And now, attention is turning to fall. With the leaf-peeping season just ahead, tourism officials and businesses are preparing for the next major stretch of the season.
