What are your car-buying plans this year?

This poll has ended (since 3 days).

For many people in Maine, owning a car is a necessary evil.

But the cost keeps going up. Buying a car is only part of the deal, and registration fees, insurance and maintenance can be a burden.

It’s been widely reported that people have resorted to holding onto their cars longer. The average age of vehicles in the U.S. reached 12.8 years in 2025, according to S&P Global Mobility.
