After the seller’s multiyear restoration, the Searsport inn, once a sea captain’s home, was acquired by an Arizona couple that plans to build on the property’s revitalized reputation while expanding its focus.

The 18,850-square-foot shopping center is located at the entrance to Belfast and anchored by Belfast Drug Co.. Additional tenants included New China, Sherwin-Williams, Rent-A-Center, Goodwill and U.S. Cellular.

Pride Manufacturing has notified the state that it will close by mid-April, ending 115 manufacturing jobs in Burnham.
