The facility will provide 24/7 intensive care to Maine youth under 21 with acute behavioral health care needs. The center will have 16 beds and be staffed with psychiatrists, behavioral care and mental health providers and nursing staff.
Once completed, the 16,600-square-foot build will offer 3,200 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. The upper three floors will have 17 apartments, a mix of one-bedroom and studio units.
