A 40- by 200-foot building under construction off Route 1 in Wells has had passersby scratching their heads as to what use was intended for the project, but it's designed for light industrial use.
The buyer of a Boothbay Harbor hotel portfolio added it to his growing hospitality collection in the midcoast and southern Maine coastal region. “It wasn’t just a business decision. It felt very personal,” he said.
The shop grew from from a small storefront in downtown Gorham and now has five Maine locations. The new owner has two decades of experience in the cycling industry.
