Diversified Business Communications of Portland is expanding its reach with three recent acquisitions, including forays into India and Australia.
A trade show, publishing and electronic media company, Diversified has established operations in India with the acquisition of Infocast India, a magazine publisher and event organizer in the film and music production industry, according to a press release. The company has also acquired the trade event assets of dmgworldmedia in Australia, including food, construction and design and architecture expos.
Domestically, Diversified has acquired Massachusetts-based Spar Point Research LLC, a conference and exhibit organizer in 3D imaging technology that operates an annual event in the U.S. and produces an event in Japan, the release states.
Earlier this year, Diversified announced the establishment of a Hong Kong division with the acquisition of Asia Business Events. Diversified also has operations in Canada and the United Kingdom.
A division of Diversified Communications on Free Street, Diversified Business Communications serves the seafood, food service, natural and organic foods and commercial marine industries.
