TruChoice Federal Credit Union will host a grand opening celebration at its newest location in Biddeford on Aug. 7.
The new branch is located at the corner of Route 111 and Barra Road.
“We’re so excited to be in Biddeford,” TruChoice President Ken Acker said in a news release. “TruChoice has had members in this area for many years and with our online services they can easily bank with us from anywhere. But sometimes a face-to-face conversation is important, so now our Biddeford members can have both.”
The credit union is marking the opening of its new Biddeford branch with an initial $1,000 donation to the Biddeford Parks and Recreation Department to support local children who can’t afford to attend summer camp or after-school programs. It also plans to commit $100 from every $10,000 saved by its Biddeford members to the parks and recreation department.
TruChoice Federal Credit Union serves members in York and Cumberland counties and has three public branches and one workplace branch location.
