More Information

Significant professional accomplishment: I have been living the entrepreneur life 100% for three years now and founded all of my companies during the pandemic. Each company fills a different void but they all combat various social issues.

Passion project: I am taking Cape Verdean Kriolu courses to better get in touch with my culture. Unfortunately, my language was not taught to me as a child so I am taking it upon myself to become fluent. This experience has allowed me to better understand myself and my ancestors.

Audacious goal: I want to own five houses around the world — naturally, this means I need to be fluent in five or more languages — and own businesses around the world.

Favorite quote: The Serenity Prayer: “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Influential book: “The Autobiography of Malcolm X: As Told to Alex Haley”

Favorite movie: This is a hard one. I don’t watch many movies or TV shows, but if I had to choose I would pick “Fight Club.” It’s a classic, in my opinion.

How do you recharge: Just staying home and hanging out with my son and husband. Sounds simple but it is the best thing I can do for myself because I am always go, go, go.
