Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP)
ACAP provides workforce development support through the federal program, Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA). This legislation is designed to help youth, adults and dislocated workers with barriers to employment. Services include counseling, on-the-job training and work-based learning. Eastern Maine Development Corporation (EMDC)
A member of the American Job Center Network, EMDC provides career counseling, workshops, education, training and more. Career & Technical Education (CTE)
Training an educated workforce is key to developing a successful and productive community and economy. CTE, through its career clusters, multiple pathways and programs, empowers students to develop the attributes and skills necessary to become successful citizens, workers and leaders.
