Portland wealth management firm names key leadership promotions
R.M. Davis, a wealth management firm in Portland, has announced promotions to key leadership positions.
The moves are part of an ongoing expansion of the firm’s leadership team in recent years.
The following executives have nearly 80 years of experience at the firm:
- Dean Walker was promoted to chief operating officer. Walker is also the director of the trading and data management departments. He is responsible for trade execution and the integrity of financial data. He is also responsible for the credit analysis of fixed-income holdings and researching fixed-income asset classes.
- Drew Blaney is now vice president of finance. Blaney handles or oversees all day-to-day accounting and payroll matters for the firm.
- George Carr is the new managing director of portfolio management. Before joining R.M. Davis in 2015, he spent seven years at Federal Street Advisor in Boston.
- Vince Damasco was promoted to managing director of investment research, focusing on the health care, financials and basic industry sectors of the economy.
- Natalie Solotoff was promoted to managing director of wealth management. Solotoff is a tax lawyer and a CPA. She shares oversight for the trust department, including tax work.
- Michele Whitmore was promoted to managing director of client service and manages the portfolio administrator team.
- Bob Davis is now the managing director of portfolio management.
Several officers who were previously promoted have also received the title of managing director in addition to their status as vice presidents:
- Hugh Judge, now managing director of portfolio management, is a certified trust and financial advisor and certified financial planner.
- Dana Mitiguy has received a title change to managing director, portfolio management.
- Denise Vigneault, now managing director, human resources. She is also part of the finance department and works closely with the chief operating officer to prepare annual budgets and other financial reporting.
