Bangor Savings Bank has hired Mike Adams as vice president, senior fiduciary officer and counsel for its wealth management group.
Adams, a 2022 Mainebiz 40 Under 40 honoree, has an extensive background in legal services, trust law and fiduciary responsibilities. He will be based in Portland at the bank’s 280 Fore St. location.
“We are pleased to welcome Mike to Bangor Savings Bank.” said Scott Kenney, senior vice president, director of wealth management and senior trust officer. “His skills, experience, and passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals will be a tremendous asset to our team.”
Before working at Bangor Savings Bank, Adams was an associate attorney at law firm Preti Flaherty in Portland. There, he focused on real estate, finance, and mergers and acquisitions accounts and was named a 2023 New England Rising Star for lawyers in banking.

“Joining Bangor Savings Bank is an exciting opportunity to blend my passion for legal expertise with my commitment to financial excellence for the bank’s wealth management clients,” Adams told Mainebiz.
