If you want to post a copy of any Mainebiz article to a website, you must obtain written permission first.
To obtain a reprint of a Mainebiz article, Mainebiz sells specially formatted PDFs of articles that we have published in print or online. These 8.5 x 11" sheets feature your article with the Mainebiz logo and article date at the top of the page along with the content and photos included in the article. They are the perfect size for an addition to your marketing materials, posting on your website or framing for a keepsake.
Order Online: Navigate to the article you wish to purchase, click the "Add PDF" button to add the item to your shopping cart. Our circulation team will pass along the order information for production once the order is placed.
Google Form: Follow this link to complete the Google Form for a PDF reprint. Responses/orders will be sent directly to our circulation team who will then pass along the order information for production.
Email: Email orders@mainebiz.biz with your desired print or online article information to directly speak to a team member about purchasing a reprint.
After completing any of the above purchasing processes, please allow at least 5 business days for production and delivery.
Permission to reprint is based on your compliance with the policy below. Failure to do so may result in legal action.
- You agree to reprint the article in its entirety without adding or deleting from it, agree to credit Mainebiz by indicating the issue date and "Reprinted with permission from Mainebiz" on the reprint.
- Reprints must appear as they did in the original printed publication. You are not allowed any changes or edits to the article unless it is a legitimate correction such as a misspelled name or inaccurate factual data.
- Once we receive the reprint request, you will receive permission in writing. Permission to reprint is based on your compliance with the policy above. Failure to do so may result in legal action.
- Posting the digital PDF on your web site in its original form
- Emailing the digital PDF in its original form
- Printing and distributing hard copies as a marketing/sales tool

Requests for reprinting Mainebiz photos are handled on a case-by-case basis. Photos may be copyright of Mainebiz or the individual photographer. For assistance, please contact Editor Peter Van Allen. Please include in your email the date the photo ran and a description of the photo. If you found the photo at Mainebiz.biz, please include a link to the photo/article in your email.
