Bangor Savings Bank Foundation recently made $215,450 in grants to 18 nonprofit organizations based in Maine and New Hampshire.
The foundation awards grants, ranging from $2,000 to $25,000, four times a year to nonprofits with worthy initiatives that make communities in Maine and New Hampshire more prosperous, livable and vibrant.
The recent grant recipients were:
Bangor Savings Bank, with more than $4 billion in assets, offers retail banking to consumers as well as comprehensive commercial, corporate, payroll administration, merchant services, and small business banking services to businesses. The bank, founded in 1852, currently has 59 branches across Maine and New Hampshire. www.bangor.com . The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation was created in 1997. In 2017, the bank and its foundation invested nearly $2.1 million into New England communities in the form of nonprofit sponsorships, grants and partnership initiatives.
