Boothbay region has a new chamber director
Patricia Royall is promoted to executive director of the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce, the Boothbay Register reported.
Royall had previously served as the chamber’s events and marketing coordinator.
She replaces Rick Prose, who resigned in October.
The chamber also elected a new president, Michael Maxim, who is the general manager of Abacus, a Boothbay Harbor craft shop.
There are still at least three other openings for chamber leaders: the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce is looking for someone to fill Ross Cunningham’s shoes; the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is looking for a replacement after Matt Leonard’s resignation; and at the Damariscotta Chamber of Commerce, a search is under way for Toni Crouch’s successor.
