Priority Real Estate Group of Topsham is in the middle of building or expanding new sites for three Ford dealerships. The Yankee Ford at 165 Waterman St. in South Portland will have a new showroom and larger service area, with a November completion planned. In Thomaston, Priority is developing a $7 million, 20,000-square-foot dealership on Moody Drive to house Rockland Ford. It will open in February 2020. The first makeover was for Tucker Ford, which moved into 28,500 square feet at 262 Bath Road in Brunswick last year. All three dealerships are owned by Bob Esposito and Stephen Goodrich; Anthony Esposito, Bob’s son, is a partner in Rockland Ford. The Tucker in Brunswick is Tucker Ciancette, the GM. Lajoie Bros. of Augusta is handling the construction. Priority Real Estate, which is involved in Brunswick Landing and develops Irving-Rusty Lantern convenience stories, typically shepherds projects from A to Z, says President and CEO Jim Howard. “With most of our work, we find a location, secure the permits, work with the banks, build it and then hand over the keys,” he told Mainebiz. “We’ve had such a good experience with Jim,” says Esposito. “Everything is on time and on budget.”

They’re not the only car dealerships getting a makeover. AlliedCook Construction is managing the expansion of the Volvo dealership on U.S. Route 1 in Scarborough.

Peachey Builders of Augusta is working on the new Farmingdale Fire Station, at 571 Maine Ave. Cost of the project has been reported as $1.35 million. Engineering work was done by A.E. Hodsdon Engineers.

Hebert Construction of Lewiston is building a site for Biddeford Saco Dental Associates on Route 1 (485 Main St.) in Saco. Plans submitted with the city of Saco called for a 8,344-square-foot, two-story building with 44 parking spaces. The 1.48-acre parcel is between KFC and York County FCU.

Customers have been flowing into Front Street Shipyard for several years. Now the boatyard has a comfortable lounge and showroom to welcome them. Front Street unveiled a new client lounge and interior design showroom in its Belfast facility. TACK studios, which designs yacht interiors from its headquarters in North Yarmouth, styled a 400-square-foot room overlooking the waterfront and the yard’s Building 1. The client lounge doubles as an interior design showroom, featuring color and fabric samples “as well as design inspiration for yachts,” according to TACK. It features Thos. Moser furniture and artwork by David Estey and John Gable. Furniture is from Ralph Lauren, Loro Piana, Sunbrella, Perennials and others, and is available for purchase or customization. TACK is owned by Kate Seremeth. Front Street recently opened a 23,000-square-foot “superyacht” service facility.
