Casino's revenues up slightly

Revenues at the Hollywood Slots casino in Bangor inched up in April over March, marking the fourth consecutive month of gains.

Gross revenues at the facility, Maine's only casino, were $55.2 million last month, an increase of less than half of 1% over March, according to the Department of Public Safety's gambling control unit, the Associated Press reported.

April's revenues were up 17% over the same month last year, when the casino had only 475 slot machines, compared to 1,000 machines now.
