Cross adds Patriots to portfolio
Not quite four months after a Bangor-based insurance company signed on as the official insurance company of the Boston Red Sox, it added the Kraft Sports Group to its client list, extending insurance brokerage to the New England Patriots, New England Revolution and Gillette Stadium.
As part of the partnership, Cross Insurance will have a visible presence at Patriot Place and Gillette Stadium through the 2012 National Football League and Major League Soccer seasons, according to a release from the company. In April, Cross Insurance signed a two-year partnership as the official insurance broker of the Boston Red Sox. Executive Vice President Brent Cross said the company is trying to expand its presence in the greater Boston area.
Last month Cross Insurance paid $3 million for long-term naming rights to the 8,000-seat arena under construction in Bangor.
