Dubé retires from SBA post

Maurice "Moe" Dubé, director of the U.S. Small Business Administration's Maine district, retired yesterday after six years at the helm of the federal business assistance agency.

According to a press release, Marilyn Geroux, previously the deputy director for the SBA's Maine district, will serve as the acting director pending a permanent hire.

Dubé, who lives in Lewiston, was named director of the SBA's Maine office in 2007 and has worked in various capacities at the SBA since 1987, according to a biography at the SBA website.
