Lebel & Harriman, a financial services firm in Falmouth, has named retirement advisor Nate Moody as a partner.
Moody joins Jennifer Breton, Laurie Reed and Matthew Arey, who also hold partnerships.
Moody joined the firm in 2016 and has since demonstrated talent and leadership in his role as retirement plan advisor and director of business development and marketing, the firm said in a news release.
He focuses his work on company retirement and executive benefits programs, including 401(k) and 403(b) plans, employee stock-ownership plans and nonqualified deferred compensation plans.
Moody’s passion for financial wellness led him to launch a monthly webinar series in 2020 to promote financial literacy among the firm's retirement plan sponsors and participants.
Among his accomplishments, Moody has been named a 2022 Mainebiz 40 Under 40 honoree, a Top Retirement Advisor under 40 in 2022 and 2023 by the National Association of Plan Advisors and the Young Professional of the Year in 2020 by the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, his efforts helped a client earn the honor of “Plan Sponsor of the Year” in 2023.
“I would just like to thank Mike Lebel and Phil Harriman for their mentorship, thank the amazing team at Lebel & Harriman for the passion they bring to our clients every day,” said Moody. “There is so much opportunity in Maine for young people who are willing to work hard.”
Moody also serves as vice president of the Maine Employee Benefits Council, on the board of trustees of the Healthcare Purchaser Alliance of Maine and on the Young Leaders Council of Make-A-Wish Maine.
