Former Norway selectman going to jail
A former Norway selectman yesterday pleaded guilty in Oxford County Superior Court to embezzling more than $29,000 from Norway-Paris Community Television, according to the Sun Journal.
Ronald S. Snow, 58, was sentenced to serve six months of a five-year sentence. Snow worked as an accountant for the community access station from 2004 to 2006. He came under investigation last February after the station's current accountant discovered discrepancies in the budget, the paper reported.
Snow served as a selectman for Norway from 1993 to 1999, and unsuccessfully ran for the position in 2003.
