Georgetown marina under new ownership
The historic Robinhood Marine Center in Georgetown is under new ownership following its sale to a partnership that includes Derecktor Shipyards of Mamaroneck, N.Y. – a company that holds the record for building the largest yacht in the history of the United States.
Derecktor Maine, the partnership that purchased the marina, includes Derecktor Shipyards’ owner Paul Derecktor and longtime business partner John Koenig. The price of the marina, which will be renamed Derecktor/Robinhood, was not released.
Included in the purchase is the Osprey restaurant, an on-site library, museum and a general store located on the property according to a release by the real estate company that brokered the sale, LandVest.
