The Greater Portland Board of Realtors said it will participate in Portland’s 2024 Pride celebration on June 15.
The annual event, which honors the LGBTQ+ community, will take place in downtown Portland and promises to be a day of joy, solidarity, and support for diversity and inclusion, the organization said.
As part of its commitment to fostering an inclusive community, the GPBR will have a presence at the celebration. Members of the board and affiliated Realtors will participate in the parade.
In addition, GPBR will host a booth providing information on fair housing practices, promoting equal opportunity in homeownership, and offering resources for LGBTQ+ individuals seeking real estate services in Greater Portland.
Plans for the overall event include a parade, live performances and community engagement booths. It serves as a platform to celebrate the achievements of the LGBTQ+ community and advocate for ongoing progress toward equality and acceptance.
GPBR is a professional organization dedicated to serving the real estate needs of the Greater Portland community through advocacy, education and community involvement.
