Greenlight Maine, an entrepreneurial pitch contest with a $100,000 prize, has selected the 13 semi-finalists who will move on to the Season 3 finals in June.
The 13 companies advancing were selected from 26 semi-finalists selected last summer to participate in a weekly Greenlight Maine TV show that runs statewide via WCSH6 and WLBZ2 on Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m stating last September. Semifinalists received mentoring from some of Maine's best and brightest corporate, media and marketing executives as well as receive extensive promotion across television, print, social and digital media.
In addition to the $100,000 annual cash prize that is awarded each June to the winner of the season, millions have been invested in companies that have been showcased.
The following Season 3 semi-finalists will move on to the finals in June:
Greenlight Maine is the vision of Portland Media Group, a custom content and production company founded by Brian Corcoran, CEO of Shamrock Sports & Entertainment; Nat Thompson, chief marketing officer of CSP Mobile Productions as well as past producer/owner of WCSH6; and Con Fullam, an Emmy nominated and multi-award winning TV, music and film producer.

Mainebiz is a Season 3 partner of Greenlight Maine along with Bangor Savings, Day’s Jewelers, FAME, Maine DECD, MEMIC, PretiFlaherty, WEX, Macpage, DreamLocal Digital, Emera, Thos. Moser, Spectrum Healthcare Partners and Thomas College.
