Mainebiz is now accepting nominations for its 2017 Mainebiz Business Leaders of the Year program.
This program honors individuals who are the key decision-makers in a successful Maine business, who actively serve the communities where they live and work and have led their companies to achieve significant milestones in 2016.
The nomination period will remain open until Jan. 31.
Business Leaders of the Year honorees are considered under three categories: Large company (50 or more employees); entrepreneur/small Company and nonprofit.
Nomination forms are available at www.mainebiz.biz/bloy and clicking on “submit nomination.”
After the nomination period closes, applicants will be screened and vetted by the editorial staff who will select the 2017 Business Leaders of the Year. Profiles of the honorees will appear in the March 20 issue of Mainebiz.
On May 11, there will be a special reception honoring the winners at the Portland Country Club.
Honorees from previous years include: Royce Cross, CEO and president of Cross Insurance; Joshua Davis, CEO of Gelato Fiasco; and Dana Totman, president and CEO of Avesta Housing.
