Historic Portland building under contract
The former Schlotterbeck & Foss building in Portland’s Bayside neighborhood is getting prepped for a change in ownership.
Drew Sigfridson, a partner at CBRE | The Boulos Co., told the Portland Press Herald that the new owners’ plans would likely involve converting the five-story commercial building on Preble Street into a residential property.
The newspaper noted that the building, constructed in 1927, has been listed on the market for $3.35 million since January. Schlotterbeck & Foss, a maker of specialty sauces, was based there before moving to Westbrook last year.
