Last bank in Cape Elizabeth to close
The town of Cape Elizabeth’s last remaining bank is set to close by the end of the year.
The Forecaster reported that the city’s KeyBank location at the intersection of Ocean House, Shore and Scott Dyer roads will close by Dec. 6, and the bank’s employees will be transferred to another location.
KeyBank spokeswoman Therese Myers told the paper that a number of factors played into the decision, including statistics about traffic patterns into the branch and various other metrics she said are proprietary.
Myers said the bank plans to sell the building.
