Nominations for the second edition of Mainebiz Next Up: 40 Under 40 awards are due by July 21, so please send in your suggestion today.
The awards recognize outstanding young leaders who are shaking up Maine’s business community and leading us into the future. They come from a variety of industries and may be climbing the corporate ladder or charting their own courses as entrepreneurs.
To be eligible, nominees must live and work in Maine and be 39 or younger up until November 10. 2023 (Anyone who does not meet our geographic or age requirements will not be included in the pool of nominees submitted to our panel of judges.:
Nominations can be submitted by a coworker, business associate, friend or family member. People can also self-nominate.
The Mainebiz in-house judges will review nominations based on criteria including early career success and entire career potential, and the person’s commitment to their community.
This year’s cohort will be profiled in the Oct. 2 edition of Mainebiz and honored at a celebratory reception in Portland on Nov. 8. The gala event will take place Brick's South at Thompson's Point, so save the date now.
