Maine Community Bank has made one new hire and moved four employees into key leadership positions.
Todd Savage was hired as central Maine's regional vice president of commercial banking. He will manage the central Maine commercial lending team, maintaining and growing a portfolio of commercial loans and relationships centered around the area. Prior to this appointment, he worked for First National Bank.
Jeffrey Gosselin was promoted to senior vice president and chief commercial officer. He will oversee the commercial and cash management teams serving their markets in central and southern Maine. Gosselin has 25 years of commercial banking experience.
Jennifer Sirois was promoted to regional vice president of commercial banking for Southern Maine. She will manage the commercial lending team while maintaining and growing a portfolio of commercial loans and relationships centered around the area.
Suzanne Carney was promoted to chief administrative officer. In her role, she oversees all aspects of human resources. She will also be responsible for deposit e-services operations and the call center. Carney has a bachelor's in business administration from Bryant University.
Matthew Boynton was promoted to assistant branch manager of the Biddeford Main Street branch. He will manage the branches' daily operations. Boynton has been with the company for almost eight years and comes from the bank's Waterboro branch.
Maine Community Bank has branches in Auburn, Biddeford, Brunswick, Kennebunk, Lewiston, Scarborough, Waterboro, Westbrook and Windham. Maine Community Bancorp was established in 2016 as a mutual holding company that owns Biddeford Savings Bank and Mechanics Savings Bank.
Maine Community Bank is No. 14 among the largest Maine-based banks, according to the 2023 Mainebiz Book of Lists. That ranking is based on assets as of June 30, 2022.
