Longtime readers of Mainebiz may remember that former Publisher Donna Brassard retired in March 2021 after more than two decades leading the publication.
At that time, Peter Stanton, CEO of our parent company, New England Business Media, took over the role as publisher of Mainebiz.
Now, the parent company is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrea Tetzlaff as associate publisher of Mainebiz.
Tetzlaff, who has been at Mainebiz since 2013, was previously a sales rep and then, two years ago, was named advertising sales director. She will continue to lead the sales team and will also oversee events and the day-to-day operations at our new office at 15 Franklin St. in Portland.
"As part of founding Publisher Donna Brassard’s transition plan before she retired, Andrea was given the responsibility to oversee the advertising team at Mainebiz. In that role over the last couple of years she has been a terrific contributor, not just on the sales front where she leads a talented team, but as an important member of our leadership team,” said Stanton.
“The move to associate publisher will empower Andrea to continue to grow and further advance Mainebiz’s role as a leader in the state’s business community.”
Tetzlaff said she looks forward to her new role.
"I've found it rewarding to help our clients for the last eight years with their marketing goals," she said. "I look forward to building on those relationships and engaging more with others in our Mainebiz community that I haven't had the chance to meet yet."
Tom Curtin, president of New England Business Media, added: “We’re thrilled to see Andrea taking on an increased role in leading Mainebiz, we have the utmost confidence in her ability to be a real difference maker in the coming years.”
