The event is a collaboration between Maine and New Hampshire. It will be co-hosted by the Manufacturers Association of Maine and Synergy Workforce Solutions.

To be held at Albacore Park — site of a historic Navy submarine — the career fair "aims to inspire students and educators while strengthening the talent pipeline that supports national security and innovation," the Manufacturers Association said.

Samantha Dina, the associate commissioner of the Maine Department of Labor, will be in attendance, "further emphasizing the state's commitment to supporting workforce development initiatives in critical industries and the cross-border collaboration between Maine and New Hampshire," the trade association said.

"This presence underscores the important role government agencies can play in building a sustainable workforce for the future."

Some 500 students from the Career and Technical Education programs and high schools in Maine and New Hampshire will participate in interactive activities that highlight STEM and trade careers in maritime and advanced manufacturing.

“This collaboration between the Maine and New Hampshire’s manufacturing ecosystem, underscored by participation from the Maine and New Hampshire Manufacturing Extension Partnership programs, reinforces the vital role our regional STEM resources play in securing a sustainable workforce for our manufacturing and maritime industries,” said Mike Roughton, executive director for the Manufacturers Association of Maine.
