Gameday Men’s Health, a California-based franchise brand, opened its first Maine location in a 1,650-square-foot lease at 210 Western Ave. in South Portland.
Cameron Foster of the Boulos Co. and Melody Allred of CARR represented the tenant, Gameday Men’s Health, and Joe Atwood of the Dunham Group represented the landlord, Rock Coast Space1 LLC.
CARR, headquartered in Colorado, specializes in health care real estate.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Carlsbad, Calif., Gameday is a men’s health franchise brand that has a mission to help men reclaim their energy, health and confidence, according to a news release.
Services include hormone optimization, testosterone replacement therapy, medical weight loss and other treatments.
The South Portland location opened on May 14, and is led by Mike Lowans and his wife and business partner Meg Lowans.
The location was selected for its visibility, ample parking and existing interior build-out, which includes multiple offices and bathrooms. The features make it an efficient and inviting fit for the clinic’s model, the release says.
“Mike and his team were a pleasure to work with,” said Foster. “They had a clear understanding of their brand, service and clientele, which made it easy to identify a space that checked all their boxes.”
The deal came together through a competitive request for proposal process that was set up to ensure the best outcome for Boulos’s client. Multiple landlords participated, according to the release.
Plans are in the works to open a second Gameday location north of Portland in the first half of 2026.
