Mid Coast plans $6M medical center in Bath
Mid Coast Medical Group plans to build a new primary care center in downtown Bath, a $6 million project that will accommodate the patient-centered medical home health care model.
The Times Record reported the health care group that includes Mid Coast Hospital plans to break ground this summer on the new project. Mid Coast spokesman Steve Trockman told the newspaper the health care network pursued the expansion in Bath to provide more room for new primary care patients. It plans to lease the building, which still requires local planning board approval. It recently opened a primary care facility in Topsham.
