Milo fire destroys downtown businesses

A fire yesterday that ripped through downtown Milo has destroyed several businesses.
The fire began at roughly 3:20 a.m. and quickly spread, destroying three businesses -- Hobnobber's Pub, The Spot Game Room and the True Value Hardware Store -- and two apartments, according to news station WLBZ2 in Bangor.
Maine's Department of Economic and Community Development will send specialists to Milo to help the town and businesses recover, according to a press release from Gov. John Baldacci's office.
