Maine hospitals had the highest percentage of “A” grade hospitals in the latest Leapfrog hospital safety scores. Maine topped the list with 80% of reporting hospitals scoring an “A,” followed by Massachusetts with 76% earning an “A.” None of Maine's 20 reporting hospitals scored below a “C.”
The Maine Potato Board recently announced that Sara Corey was selected as the 2013 Young Farmer of the Year. Corey is the first woman to be chosen for this recognition and is also the youngest recipient of the honor.
