The northern Maine chapter of SCORE has selected a new chair. Steve Campbell, who has volunteered with the organization since 2016, began his new role Aug. 1, according to a news release.
At Northern Maine SCORE, Campbell’s role will be to manage the chapter’s community outreach, recruitment and small business mentorship programs and workshops. Currently, he’s an adjunct business professor at Husson University.
“Steve’s selection as chapter chair will have a very positive impact on Northern Maine SCORE," said SCORE CEO Bridget Weston. “Steve has shown tremendous dedication to the Bangor business community and surrounding areas. He will ensure the superior level of service that Northern Maine SCORE offers to area businesses.”
Campbell has been with Northern Maine SCORE since 2016. He has 35 years of multi-industry experience and has led small businesses and large corporations to success through innovation and building strong teams to lead the organizations to growth and ultimate success for the people, the community, and the customers. He also held a number of offices in civic organizations, such as the Chamber of Commerce, United Way, and Habitat for Humanity. He serves as Adjunct Professor in Business at Husson University.
