A new brewery is opening at the former site of Dr. Records, which had been a mainstay for downtown Orono for over 30 years, to provide beer for three nearby restaurants.
The Bangor Daily News reported that Orono Brewing Co. is expected to open under the Verve restaurant at 2 Mill St. sometime this fall. The venture was started by Abe and Heather Furth, the owners of Verve and Woodman’s Bar and Grill.
