Panelists have been named for the 2014 Top Gun Showcase, where 12 of the 20 companies that went through the entrepreneur mentor program will have their pitches evaluated.
The Top Gun Showcase on June 4 will feature 12 panelists from a wide variety of industries, including supply logistics, marketing and craft brewing, according to a press release.
The panelists are:
• Dave Anderson, managing director of Supply Chain Ventures;
• Gena Canning, managing partner of Pine Street Trading;
• Alicia DePatsy, owner and creative strategist of Dragonfly Id Marketing;
• Taja Dockendorf, owner and brand Strategist of Pulp and Wire;
• Ian Kopp, president and COO of Kenway Corp.;
• Luke Livingston, founder of Baxter Brewing;
• Rumena Manolova, vice president of Blackstone Advisory Partners;
• Robert Martin, president of Maine Technology Institute;
• Chris Pasko, senior managing director and global head of technology advisory of Blackstone Advisory Partners;
• Jeffery W. Spaulding, a shareholder of Eaton Peabody;
• Chris Speh, board chair of Common Good Ventures;
• and Bill Williamson, Maine state president of Bank of America.
The event is being held by the University of Maine’s Target Technology Incubator and the Maine Center for Entrepreneurial Development, which runs the Top Gun program. The event is supported by the Blackstone Accelerates Growth initiative, the Maine Technology Institute and a number of business sponsors, mentors and program advisors.
