Penobscot Financial Advisors has appointed Rebecca Schuman as an associate financial advisor in its Portland office.
While a college student, Schuman began at Penobscot Financial as an intern, working with CEO Craig Joncas. Now as an associate advisor, she is part of a team of certified financial planners with more than 40 years of experience $360 million in assets under management.
“Returning to PFA as an associate advisor was a no-brainer,” said Schuman. “The people who work here are genuinely kind, and they care about their clients and the work they do.”
Schuman’s undergraduate studies in finance and international business at the University of Maine led her to a position as an account manager for a Portland hedge fund administrator, Stone Coast Fund Services.
The Topsham native is studying for the Series 65 examination and will join her colleagues in completing her CFP studies soon.
“We are thrilled to have Rebecca back on the PFA team,“ said Joncas. "She has an infectious enthusiasm for financial planning that is sure to motivate clients and colleagues alike. Rebecca’s confident personality will thrive in this role, and our clients will benefit as a result.”
