Popular Munjoy Hill market reopening after fire
The former Colucci’s market on Munjoy Hill will reopen under a new banner next week, and the owners hope to win back former customers and attract new ones.
The Portland Press Herald reported that Hilltop Superette will aim to serve as a “full-service grocery” in Portland’s East End, while also carrying items that will likely attract the neighbor’s more upscale residents who have been moving in for the last few years.
Colucci’s closed last year when it was damaged by an arson fire.
