Registration is now open for the annual Mainebiz Momentum Convention, where over 100 businesses and more than 1,500 of the business-minded are set to take over the Augusta Civic Center on Nov. 9.
The 7th annual event, sponsored by TD Bank, is a full day of learning and networking with industry leaders, peers and customers. Attendees will spend the day with some of Maine's most successful CEOs, business professionals and leaders who will share insights and the transformational strategies they used to grow their companies. This year's theme is "Navigating the Future."
Richard d'Abo, the chairman of the board of Eimskip, the Icelandic shipping company that in 2013 decided to make Portland its only port of call in the United States, will deliver the annual keynote address focusing on the future of business in Maine.
In addition to the keynote, this year’s Mainebiz U educational sessions will be addressing topics such as the new Maine economy, data security, funding, startups and entrepreneurs, succession planning, the new Maine worker and the impact of exporting Maine brands on the future economy.
