OceanView at Falmouth, a retirement community, has hired a new director of assisted living who brings many years of experience working in senior care.
In his new role, Randy Corkum will oversee the operational needs of OceanView’s Falmouth House and Legacy Memory Care facilities.
The Boston native has 15 years of experience and most recently served as director of residential care at Maine Veterans’ Home in Scarborough.
Prior to his time at the Veterans Home, Corkum spent 12 years with Massachusetts General Hospital as an operating room director and four years in a similar position at Maine Medical Center.
Corkum spent three years working at Maine General Hospital in Augusta, helping to build the hospital’s new operating room theater.
“Randy brings a wealth of knowledge, skills and leadership that will contribute to maintaining the exceptional care that we provide,” said Diane Kibbin, director of operations for OceanView at Falmouth.
Corkum earned his bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Massachusetts in Boston and his master’s in hospital and health care facilities administration and management from Walden University.
OceanView at Falmouth has been locally owned and managed since 1986.
