Maine Medical Partners has added six physicians to its roster, with specialties that range from women's health to neurology.
“At MaineHealth, we’re committed to expanding patients’ access to high quality and convenient specialty care,” said Aileen Mickey, MD, president of the MaineHealth Medical group. “Welcoming six outstanding new specialty physicians to our practices is an exciting way to come through on that commitment.”
Rhianon Liu joined Maine Medical Center in the palliative care department. Her primary office will be in Portland, but she will also provide care at Southern Maine Health Center in Biddeford. Liu held a fellowship at the University of California Hospital and Medical Center in hospice and palliative medicine, and a fellowship and residency at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital in California.
Tiffani McDonough has joined the MMP neurology department in Scarborough. Prior to joining MaineHealth, she practiced as an attending physician in epilepsy and neonatal neurology at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. McDonough was an assistant professor of pediatrics in neurology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. McDonough completed a fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Center in clinical neurophysiology, in 2014, and completed three residency rotations. She also interned at NYU Medical Center in pediatrics in 2009. She received her degree and medical training from Weill Medical College at Cornell University.
Katherine McDonald joins Maine Partners' Women's Health Division of Urogynecology in South Portland. She was a teaching associate in the obstetrics and gynecology department at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in New York, where she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. McDonald also completed her fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine. She completed her medical training at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Lindsay Dale has joined the Women’s Health obstetrics and gynecology department; her office will be at the MMP Women’s Health Division of Maternal-fetal Medicine in Portland. She most recently served as a visiting instructor of family planning in the obstetrics and gynecology department at the University of New Mexico, where she also completed her fellowship in complex family planning. Her medical training and residency were finished at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dale also holds a master’s in clinical research from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
Catherine Monigan has been hired at Scarborough's Maine Medical Partners neurology department. In 2022, Monigan completed her fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Massachusetts General Hospital; in 2021, she completed her residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She is board certified in psychiatry and neurology.
Lily Wang joins Maine Medical Partners' urology department, based at the Maine Partners' urology office in South Portland. She practiced as a pediatric urologist at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, Calif. Wang was a pediatric urology fellow at Texas Children’s Hospital at Baylor College of Medicine and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, University of Connecticut. In addition, Wang was a resident and general surgery intern at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She completed medical training at Columbia University School of Medicine in New York.
