It might be hard to muster enough energy this Sunday morning to make it to Portland’s Eastern Promenade, but if you do, you’ll have a chance to try out some of the best mobile coffee the city has to offer at Coffee on the Prom.
From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the top of Cutter Street, the Vagabond Coffee Car, Makers Mug and The Sugarbird Coffee Truck will be serving coffee lovers new custom caffeinated beverages that will range in price from $2 to $5, according to the Bangor Daily News.
Urban Sugar Donuts’ truck also will be there, enticing visitors with their signature donuts like Ol’ Blue Eyes, a donut with handmade lavender pastry cream, lemon curd and a Nilla wafer crumble, and the Southern Sugar, which features a maple bourbon drizzle, maple pastry cream and candied pecans.
Coffee on the Prom will also serve as the sendoff for The Sugarbird Coffee Truck, which was sold this month to Tandem Coffee Roasters, to help the Portland-based coffee roastery and bakery expand its catering operations, the BDN reported.
