Systems Engineering, a Portland-based managed IT services provider, has opened an office in Manchester, N.H., to meet regional demand for its services.
It’s the company’s first office outside of Maine, although Systems Engineering has been providing services to New Hampshire businesses over the past 10 years.
Over the past year, Systems Engineering has expanded its workforce by 17% and now has 145 employees. The company, founded in 1988, is employee owned and based at 120 Exchange St. in Portland.
“As we’ve seen our client base grow in New Hampshire, it was important that we open a local office so that we could strengthen existing relationships and develop new partnerships,” Craig Tribuno, president of Systems Engineering, said in a release. “Although our technology allows us to serve clients from anywhere at any time, face-to-face relationships are incredibly valuable. Our new office will allow us to better serve our clients and bring our philosophy and service-oriented culture to New Hampshire.”
The Manchester office, at 1750 Elm St. in the Brady Sullivan Tower, has six employees. The new location will allow Systems Engineering to continue to recruit and hire IT professionals with sales, engineering and IT consulting expertise. Systems Engineering supports the IT needs of more than 50 New Hampshire small- to medium-sized businesses in various industries, including financial, health care, legal and nonprofits.
