Bangor-based Town & Country Realtors, previously the state's largest unaffiliated residential real estate company, has joined the Better Homes and Gardens Real estate franchise.
The firm, which has nine offices in the eastern Maine market, will now operate as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Town & Country, according to a press release. The move will help Town & Country expand its geographic reach in Maine and enhance its brand, President Earl Black said in the release. "This was an opportunity that we simply could not let pass by. It's a strategic and comprehensive relationship with an iconic brand that will help us further connect with customers."
Town & Country also entered into a partnership with another Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate affiliate, The Masiello Group, a leading real estate brokerage company in New England that services Cumberland and York counties.
Black has been active in the Maine and Bangor real estate industries, serving as past president of the Bangor Board of Realtors as well as the past president of the Maine Association of Realtors. The company has offices in Bangor, Belfast, Camden, Dover-Foxcroft, Ellsworth, Hampden, Pittsfield, Skohwegan and Unity.
