Whitefield manufacturer ProKnee expands
The Whitefield manufacturer ProKnee Corp. opened a new, 16,400-square-foot manufacturing facility and warehouse last week.
The Lincoln County News reported the new facility gives the company, which has 22 employees, more than 28,000 square feet at three buildings in two locations.
Owner Lee Richards said the new building’s high ceilings will enable ProKnee to store materials needed to make its signature custom-fit knee pads used by workers in the flooring industry.
Richards told the newspaper that the expansion will allow it to reach other segments of the construction market.
