    Wouldn't be anywhere else but Maine. Nature, beauty, abundant good food, vibrant arts scene and wonderful people! Cost/benefit = worth-it

    No. We will move to a warmer climate that doesn't cost as much and has more freedoms.

    We spend our summers (2-3 months) in Prince Edward Island, Canada and the rest of the year in Maine - and we have no plans to change this after retirement. It's reverse snowbird, but we love it.
