Kids won't be the only ones in costume this Thursday.

Many workplaces celebrate Halloween, and soon some employees will be donning duds that bear little resemblance to the accepted dress code. There will be candy and other treats, and office decor will likely include more fake gravestones and cobwebs than usual.

In 2021, as businesspeople were beginning to return to in-person work, a national survey by job website Zippia.com found that 77% of employees wanted a company Halloween party. But only about 57% of employers provided one.
