The Dempsey Challenge presented by Amgen Oncology is the Dempsey Center’s flagship fundraising event and has raised over $16M since its inception in 2009. Individual and corporate partners are invited to participate either through registering to run, walk, or ride themselves, or through supporting the event with a corporate sponsorship. As a sponsor, you receive customized, highly-visible benefits to help you reach your marketing and philanthropic goals. Sponsorship opportunities for the 2022 Dempsey Challenge are currently available. Please connect with Chrissie Penney at cpenney@dempseycenter.org to learn more.
The Dempsey Center offers year-long opportunities to support the no-cost programs and services offered at the Center for both corporations and individuals. From room naming opportunities, to specific program or series sponsorships, to annual sponsorships that support every services the Center offers, the ways to help make life better for people impacted by cancer are countless. Our dedicated development team will work with you to help align your support with what resonates most for you. If you are interested in learning more about how to help provide a haven of support for cancer patients, their loved ones, and care partners—all at no cost to them—please contact Chrissie Penney at cpenney@dempseycenter.org.
The Dempsey Challenge relies on the time, talent, and dedication of over 500 volunteers to ensure a successful event each year. While many volunteers are individual, we often have businesses and community groups who chose to volunteer together.
Volunteer opportunities also exist year-round at the Dempsey Center. If you’re interested in helping make programs and services possible like Reiki, Nutrition classes & workshops, and Dempsey Center Orientations, to name only a few, we’d love to hear from you! Volunteer Opportunities are regularly posted at DempseyCenter.org/give-back, or email volunteer@dempseycenter.org to learn more.
